Needs Complete RestorationThis Emancipator is a rare find. Specs: 26’ length, 9’ beam, 16’ cockpit area, 149 hp Gray Marine Super 6 330 engine. Quality-built mahogany frames, keel, chines, battens, transom, and joiner work: cedar planking and stainless steel trim. Emancipators were built in Miami, FL in the early ‘40s to mid-‘50s and later (1955-1960) in St. Simons Island (Brunswick), GA.
Very few exist today. After restoration, this classic will be worth a substantial amount of money, so it is definitely a restoration project worth consideration.
