Dedicated to those who love and care for Vintage, Classic Boats in America’s Heartland

1,000 Memories were made in the 1,000 Islands

Fourteen Heartland Classics Chapter members attended the 2019 ACBS International Meeting and Boat Show held at Alexandria Bay, New York in September.  BEAUTIFUL weather, BEAUTIFUL scenery with the 1,000 Islands populated with castles and boat houses in the St. Lawrence River, and BEAUTIFUL antique and classic boats everywhere you went.

Pre-events hosted by the 1000 Island Chapter included cruises on the St. Lawrence River, castle tours, and visits to the Antique Boat Museum and the ACBS Headquarters.

On cruises, looking forward

All kinds of boats were there

And then there are the PEOPLE

The first time you go is eye-opening, overwhelming, awesome, and the beginning of friendships beyond our own chapter.  You go to the next one because of the boats AND the people.
