The 33rd Annual Grand Lake Boat Show, Mahogany & Chrome, is the longest running show Heartland Classics puts on and has become the “Granddaddy” of the years’ shows. It takes place on beautiful Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Northeast Oklahoma. Scheduled events will ensure time for all attendees to meet, greet, and gather with new and old friends alike to reflect on a year full of memories.
Folks can cruise for meals on the lake, sit together for food and libation at the restaurant, or hang out on the dock to enjoy the beauty of Oklahoma in the fall. Something is bound to be of interest to everyone! Thursday, people will arrive from far and near to begin the weekend activities. Dinner at the Cherokee Yacht Club will kick things off and allow everyone to start the event with good food and great company.

Thursday, October 1
- AM Arrivals/boat Launch assistance available at Arrowhead Marina North ramp.

- 6 – 9 Welcome Dinner – Cherokee Yacht Club. (Pay Onsite – Tips Encouraged)

Friday, October 2
- 8-10 Arrival Launch assistance is provided at Arrowhead Yacht Club Marina north ramp.

- 10 – 12 Cruise to Lunch
- Noon-2 Lunch – Whitecap Restaurant (Pay Onsite for Pre-ordered meals)

Saturday, October 3
- 8-10 Show Arrival & Check in – Registered participants check in at the Heartland Classics courtesy transom for info and welcome gift. Launch assistance provided at Arrowhead north ramp. Boat slips are preassigned. Representatives will be available for assistance.

- 11-3 Barbeque Lunch Buffet Walkway at Cherokee Yacht Club $25 per person (Pay onsite)
- 10-3 SHOW TIME! Show opens to the public. Boats are to remain in slips until 3pm.
Boat owners are encouraged to stay with their boats to talk to the public about the boat and the club!
Awards Banquet at Cherokee Yacht Club

Enjoy a buffet dinner with a view of sunset at Duck Creek with attendee recognition, boat acknowledgments, and awards from the day’s judged boat show.
- Silent Auction … Beautiful or ugly, practical (boat parts) or fun (nautical décor), all donated items available to the highest bidder. Bring to share what you can – buy what intrigues you.
- Farewell Social– Move next door to CYC Hooker’s Bar to mingle, share stories and check out the nostalgic photos of Grand Lake in its early years.

Mahogany & Chrome Classic Boat Show
Mahogany & Chrome Classic Boat Show is held by the Heartland Classics Chapter of ACBS. Traditionally, this show is held each fall on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in NE Oklahoma. This event is the only judged boat show within Heartland Classics Chapter. Each year home port is at Cherokee Yacht Club & Marina in Afton, Oklahoma.
Mahogany & Chrome Show is the one Heartland Classics event where official judging is offered. The ACBS criteria for judging are used which are based on comparing the existing boat to the way it would have originally left the showroom as a new boat. A point system is used to determine groups of winners: 93-100 is Platinum, 84-92 is Gold, and 75-83 is Silver.
Having your boat judged is an educational experience for you and the judges.
