Congratulations to Steve Spinharney who won Best of Show at the recent Keels & Wheels.

Keels & Wheels is Texas` premier classic automobile and vintage wooden boat show.  Keels & Wheels, held annually in Seabrook, Texas to benefit area charities, has become one of the largest and most respected car and boat shows.

Heartland Classics members were well represented and brought home trophies galore, including the BEST OF SHOW award given to Steve Spinharney for his 1955 Chris Craft 18′ Cobra.  Steve Spinharney also received the Best of Class award for the Cobra.

Other trophies that came back to the Heartland included the Best of Class award presented to Kevin Hogan for his 1958 Century 19′ Coronado.

Paul Hastings received several trophies and also the Chairman’s Choice Award. Pictured with Paul is Clay Thompson who served as the 2019 Head Judge, an honor in itself!

John and Marilyn Davenport exhibited both a classic car and classic boat.  Their combo of a 1957 Cadillac car pulling a 1957 Cadillac 14′ Newport boat was a real crowd pleaser.  The Davenport’s were also awarded a trophy for their display.

Thank you for the photos shared through the Heartland Classics Facebook group by Marilyn Davenport, Dayna Broussard, and Dave Kanally.

Here is the final 2019 Keels & Wheels Awards list for the Boat Show.

CONGRATULATIONS are also in order to Heartland Classics member Pete Seitz for the BEST OF SHOW award for large boats.  It was given for “Renegade”, a completely restored 1968 Campbell Custom Race Boat.
