Message from Mark Engstrom:

Hello all , I have heard from many of you on your plans to bring boats or engines for land or water display.  We have a great event already with 17 boats in the water, 3 on land and several engine displays.  If you have not already replied to one of my emails with your rsvp requesting a slip or parking space please do so asap.  We have room for 30 boats but we are getting more and more visibility every week that passes.

We ask that everyone arrive that day by 10:30 am for our 11:00 am to 4:00 pm get together.  Skip Langell is assigning slip numbers based on your boat requirements.  Skip will be on the dock directing traffic and organizing the water display.  John Mason will be in the parking lot helping those with land displays get all set up.  Click here for a map of the property lay out.  On the second page you will find the boat ramp.  Vehicles launching on site are welcome to park their trailers by the ramp. Working on getting Margaritaville to allow use of their golf cart if needed to run between launch and Landshark show area.  We will have a Heartland Classics table with info on the club and on site sign up if you choose, many in this group are current members. The Landshark Bar & Grill will be open as well as the outdoor patio.  They devoted premium slips as well as land display area.
Please pump up this event with friends, family, on Facebook or wherever.  We want a huge turn out.  This event is rain or shine but for those non lake folks, don’t put too much concern in an unsettled forecast they rarely get it right.  Feel free to forward this email to anyone with a boat or land display that may attend or may want to attend a future LOTO event. This email group has now grown to 35 of us.  If not part of our Facebook page search for “LOTO Classic Boats” or the Heartland Classics Chapter of ACBS Facebook Group.
Look forward to seeing you all on the 29th.

Dedicated to those who love and care for Vintage, Classic Boats in America’s Heartland
